Module 6 K

Body armour «Module 6K» is a module type body armour that relates to the semi-flexible body armours of external wearing. 
 

The full assembly of body armour "Module 6K" involves soft ballistic protection

• Front - ledge
• Back - back-piece
• Torso sides protection (simultaneously functions as ledge and back-piece connection) - stalemates
• Neck - collar
• Front and back clavicle portions - shoulder straps
• Upper portions of arms and shoulder joints - shoulders
• Waist and upper legs joints protection - tactical belt
• Lower abdomen and genitals protection - groin shield
• Lower spinal bone protection - sacrum shield

Protection by these elements is achieved by means of multilayer SVMPE fabric packet (UD-polyethylen). Protective ballistic packets are welded by the means of hypersonic welding into the plastic bags of water-proof fabric. Welded ballistic packets are located in the body armour covering.
 

Body armour covering is meant for:
 

• Location and fixation of protective ballistic packets on the human body
• Protective elements interconnection
• Replaceable pouches location (shell caddies). For this purpose the body armour covering is equipped with the "MOLLE" system
• Armour plates location is meant for increasing body armour protection class.

Soft ballistic packets can be made by the 1-st, 1A or 2-nd class at customer's option ("Individual protection means "body armour" DSTU V 4103-2002):

Two composite ceramic plates rectangular-shaped single curve (250х300х22 mm) are located in vital organs areas in special front and back niches (pouches) providing the 6-th class protection (DSTU V 4103-2002) and  stand against bullets:

"Module 6K" body armour design allows to adjust ceramic plates height location in the body armour.
Each "Module 6K" body armour is equipped with manufacturer's specification which specifies the article's manufactured date, protection class, body armour's service life, MATERIALOZNAVSTVO, LLC warranty liabilities.

General body armour protection area, minimum - 78.0 dm²
"Module 6K" body armour weight, maximum - 13.0 kg.

Body armour covering is made of CORDURA 1000D fabric black, olive, coyote, multicam and yellow-coloured according to customer preferences, horizontal stripes of "MOLLE" increased rigidity synthetic lacing are sewed on the covering.
